Construit entre 1952 et 1955, Le Canon IVSb fut l'un des boitiers Canon les plus produits de cette période. Il fut exporté sous le nom de IVS2 bien que son nom officiel ne changea pas. Fourni en standard avec un objectif Serenar 50mm F1.8 ou 2.8 ou avec un objectif Canon 50mm F1.5 ou 3.5. Le boitier dispose sur le coté d'une glissière permettant la connexion d'un flash bulb. Built from 1952 till 1955, the IVSb
model was one of the most important Canon camera supplied at that time.
It was exported with the name IVS2, even if the official name
remaind IVSb. It was equipped in standard with Serenar 50 mm lenses F1.8
or 2.8 or with a 50mm Canon lens F1.5 or 3.5. The camera is equipped on the side by a slide used to connect a bulb flash. The loading of the camera is made by the base plate.
